I got a form letter back from PETA for writing them with my concerns, which is to be expected, but I also got signed up for their fucking "action alerts" despite carefully reading the form and making sure not to check the boxes for that. God damn them.
The "action alerts" wasn't an accident; this is PETA's way of striking back against legitimate, reasonable criticisms of their unuseful, sexist propaganda attempts... clearly the solution is to accompany the form letter response to complaints with a bunch of dumb emails :P
ReplyDeleteI can only hope that additional reasonable voices speak out against the idea of using such despicable AND unuseful tactics to further what I think is, at heart, a just cause.
P.S.: Longtime reader, first time commenter. This is one of my favorite blogs, even with relatively rare updates. Keep on doing what you do.
